Get the Auth-Code

If you need to transfer the domain to another provider you can generate an Auth-Code (previously known as a UDAI) in the portal using the steps below.


For some Non-NZ domains (eg; .kiwi), the Auth-Code will not show in the portal and will be emailed to the user requesting it. The email is not instant and may take some time to arrive

Steps

  1. Open the Domain itself (see "Find the Domain Name") 
  2. In the last section press the "Get Auth-Code" button

  3. Press the "Get authorisation code" button, this will generate a code and will be displayed in the portal.

  4. You can use the code on another provider to transfer the domain name
